Vision/Mission Statement
We are committed to providing a range of developmental options to enhance learning and development through play, for families and children. We also aim to raise the awareness of the importance of play and encourage positive child/carer interactions. We offer a variety of toys that cater across the developmental areas from fine motor skills to creative play.
We believe that 'play is the work of children,' but we also believe that play is not just for them, 'play' is for everyone!
About Us
The Leopold Toy Library offers a toy lending program where members can access quality, educational, age appropriate toys, on a regular basis. There are a variety of toys that cater across children's developmental areas. Toys are split into the following categories:ACTIVITY - ride-ons, balance bikes, large outdoor climbing frames
BEGINNER - no small pieces. Suitable for under 3's focuses on gross motor skills
CO-ORDINATION - Magnetic construction toys like Magformers, wooden blocks, and other sets that focus on fine motor skills
DRESS UPS - costumes, capes and other fun ways to pretend by dressing up
EXPRESSION - Imaginative play, Brands like: Little Tikes, Tolo, Fisher Price Little People, ELC toys, doll houses, etc
GAMES - extensive range of games for beginners right up to games that adults will also enjoy!
MUSIC - musical instruments
PUZZLES - simple peg puzzles for beginners, up to 100 piece puzzles for older children
WATER/SAND - durable water/sand toys
This is an inexpensive way of providing your family with access to an extensive range of toys and hours of fun.
